Join JLL as our AMER Engineering Director and drive excellence in hard services delivery across our premier AMER client portfolio. This strategic leadership role is perfect for an engineering professional who thrives on operational excellence, identifying and implementing strategic initiatives, client partnership, and building high-performing teams across multiple countries and cultures.

You'll be the technical authority ensuring world-class delivery in mechanical, electrical, critical environments, fire life safety, and asset lifecycle management while championing innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that set new industry standards.

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY 12601Work Schedule: Hybrid, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (3 days a week onsite)Additional Perks: 25% annual salary bonus, company provided cell phone, laptop, Flex PTOEstimated compensation for this position is: $175,000 - 210,000 annually

Strategic Leadership & Client Excellence

Lead AMER engineering teams to exceed contractual obligations and client expectations while collaborating closely across other JLL business functions.Build trusted partnerships with client stakeholders, proactively addressing challenges and driving operational improvementsDevelop deep client business intelligence to anticipate needs and deliver strategic valueAchieve agreed financial targets while maintaining exceptional service quality standards

Operational Excellence & Innovation

Ensure seamless delivery across mechanical, electrical, critical environments, and fire life safety systemsDrive compliance with KPIs, service levels, and client delivery methodologiesOptimize standard operating procedures and implement best practices across AMER operationsChampion health, safety, and environmental excellence in all service delivery activities

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Platform SMEs, Technical Management, Space & Occupancy, IT, Security, EHS teams, and strategic partnersSupport regional initiatives while maintaining AMER consistency and quality standardsTranslate complex technical requirements into business solutions that drive client successLead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency

What You Bring

Essential Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualificationExperience: 10+ years in senior-level IFM or technical leadership rolesExpertise: Subject matter expert in hard services with integrated facilities management focusAMER Experience: Proven track record managing facilities across multiple regions and locations

Technical Excellence

Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and critical environment systemsExperience with contract, budget, schedule, and invoice managementProven ability to deliver complex IFM programs successfullyStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven approach

Leadership & Strategic Thinking

Exceptional team leadership skills with a focus on growing talent for the futureAbility to balance client interests with business objectivesExperience managing client sensitivities and escalation protocolsStrategic thinking with ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes
