AME Foam Engineer will be a part of the global team that continuously drives advanced Technologies in Automotive. This person will be tasked to develop and lead new launches for Foam Process (including chemical engineering), Foam Tooling and new product introduction in the Middle East region.
Scope of the Role:
Lead the implementation of PDCA systems to drive continuous improvement and cost savings. Manage procurement and commissioning of foam tooling for new model launches. Oversee new model projects and new launches ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and specifications. Support cross-functional teams in resolving technical and quality issues related to foaming process to improve productivity and profitability. Maintain and improve plant process systems (e.g., work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, customer documentation). Collaborate with internal departments to analyze issues and implement data-driven improvements. Manage layered audit systems and ensure foam-related calculations and testing are completed accurately. Lead problem-solving teams and generate trial reports. Troubleshoot foam formulations, equipment, and tooling. Conduct SPC data analysis and foam performance testing.
Requirements:
A university degree, preferably in Chemical or Process Engineering. Proven experience working with foam or similar chemical processes in a manufacturing environment. Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to support effective regional and global collaboration. Willing and able to travel frequently across the EMEA region. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
