Your journey to a meaningful career starts with ZF LIFETEC Your Tasks + Manufacturing planning activities within China to support internal and external customers, including but not limited to pre-planning conceptualization and capital investment analyses, specification development, equipment vendor selection, installation/commissioning of manufacturing equipment (e.g. first run-off), and production releases of equipment and manufacturing procedures. + Work as interface for global IRS Assy manufacturing experts to develop IRS module manufacturing processes and implement in China plants, also for global automation project. + Conduct and lead planning activities such as DFM, P-FMEA, Cycle time calculation etc. in project phase. + Complete vendor assessments for selection initiatives through on-site visits and performance analyses. + Ensure implementation of planning phase for equipment installations in the plant related to pre-series and launch management projects in coordination with the global manufacturing planning department. + Support change management processes regarding launch management timing and engineering change implications (i.e. quotations, validations, timing, communications to affected departments/groups, etc.). + Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing and expanding professional networks, and participating in professional societies. + Ensure regional business unit compliance with all IATF16949 and ISO-14001 requirements, ZF Lifetec corporate policies, and divisional directives. + Perform other duties as assigned. Your Profile + Strong grasp of technical subjects, ideally with an Engineering background + Strong problem solving and analytical skills + Ability to work within multi-functional, multi-cultural teams + Ability to influence and engage at multiple levels within internal and external organizations + Ability to work independently & results-oriented + Knowledge of processes involved in IRS product manufacture and lean manufacturing principles + Good knowledge of PSS Systems products + Experience of working on international projects. + Good verbal and written communication skills. + Superior ability to use modern business software associated with AME role + Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
