AMCP Dossier Medical Writer (REMOTE)
AMCP Dossier Medical Writer Job Description As a Medical Writer, you will be responsible for writing and editing high-quality AMCP dossiers for assigned therapeutic areas or assets. Your role will fulfill medical, scientific, and health economic objectives, ensuring the preparation of submission-ready documents and effective implementation of the writing process. You will serve as the AMCP dossier writing expert for the department. Responsibilities + Develop, edit, and manage the production of AMCP Dossiers and scientific presentations for payers. + Collaborate with therapeutic area leads to incorporate therapeutic area strategies, scientific platforms, and value messages into AMCP dossiers. + Work with Global Medical Information to develop and/or edit responses for specific unsolicited payer and healthcare provider requests for health outcome information. + Analyze and interpret scientific data to create comprehensive, balanced, credible, and accurate documents compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. + Provide medical writing support for multiple assets within therapeutic areas. + Interpret data from various sources, including internal and external studies, and verify consistency with study data. + Perform literature searches for drafting AMCP dossiers. + Manage and prioritize multiple projects, providing solutions to complex problems and delivering accurate information within deadlines. + Identify and resolve issues during the writing/review process, escalating as necessary. + Stay informed of current industry practices related to corporate policies and procedures, maintaining compliance. + Report adverse effects and product complaints to Pharmacovigilance and Surveillance. Essential Skills + Doctorate (PhD, PharmD, MD) + 5+ years of relevant medical writing or clinical research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry + Experience as a first author in peer-reviewed journals + Development of AMCP dossiers and documents related to outcomes research + 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, with expertise in medical communications and writing + Proficiency in managed care or access, formulary or evidence-based writing, and evidence-based healthcare decision-making + Ability to assimilate and interpret scientific content for the appropriate audience + Working knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques + Proficiency in Microsoft WORD and POWERPOINT Additional Skills & Qualifications + HEOR technical training Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
