POSITION SUMMARY
An Ambulette Attendant's primary function is to provide non-emergency transport via wheelchair van, independently ensuring the safe transport of individuals. This position reports directly to the Field Supervisor. The Ambulette Attendant provides non-emergent medical transportation under the supervision of the Field Supervisor, Operations Manager, and the guidance of the Medical Director.  

Operates and maintains the PTN vehicle in a safe and deployment-ready condition. Provides safe and efficient customer service to clients during non-emergent medical transports.

Accountabilities: 

1. Supports and adheres to the State of Ohio, Michigan, ProMedica Health System and ProMedica Transportation Network policies and procedures.
2. Maintains PTN vehicles in a constant state of readiness and cleanliness. Document checks of PTN vehicle and equipment every shift.
3. Practices safe patient handling and driving techniques in accordance with State of Ohio, Michigan, ProMedica Health System and ProMedica Transportation Network policies and procedures. Shall be accountable for their actions.
4. Proficient with electronic devices for communication, direction, and documentation.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
