Short DescriptionResponsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to patients presenting to Urogynecology. This Ambulatory Nurse coordinator is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for:
performing urologic testing and procedures within the RN scope of practice (50%)assisting urogynecology providers in patient care as indicatedperforming telephone triage, responding to questions/concerns received via patient calls and portal messagesconducting telephone follow up on post-op patientscompleting forms and prior authorizationsother duties as assigned
Successful candidates will have excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills that include the ability to reassure and support women during sensitive examinations and procedures.
Experience Required1 year RN in Ambulatory setting preferred.
Experience in women’s health strongly preferred
Education RequirementsGraduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
License/Certification RequirementsCurrent NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
