Short Description

To provide patient care under the supervision of RN in the ambulatory surgery setting:

Assist with patient ADL’s and daily careTurn-over and cleaning of patient baysTransporting discharged patients via wheelchair to carCommunicates and supports with healthcare team and patients’ family and/or significant othersMaintains and demonstrates high standards of ethicsPerforms technical duties as directed by RN ex: Vital signs, POC testing, EKG, Foley cath care documents appropriately Attends staff meetingsAssist in admissions, transfers and discharges from UnitsHandling of clerical, environmental, and organizational tasksMaintains work knowledge and regulatory standardsExcellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skillsPerformance of excellent customer service skills Overview

The Cooper Surgery Center at Moorestown is a modern outpatient facility with six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and an interventional radiology suite. Patients receive seamless care from pre-operative assessment through recovery, supported by a skilled surgical team and advanced technology. Specialties include general, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, vascular, and other minimally invasive procedures designed for faster recovery and greater comfort. Care goals are designed to reduce pain, limit complications, and help patients return to normal activity sooner.
