AM Host, Nick's Quorum - Hilton Omaha

The beautiful Hilton Omaha is looking for a passionate individual to join the team as an AM Host (Full Time) for Nick's Quorum.  Leading the way in competitive wages, we are offering $16.50 per hour for this role plus tips, and opportunities to continue to grow your career with the Hilton Omaha. 

Inspired by the city’s historical Saint Nicholas Claim House of 1854, Nick’s Quorum Bar & Supper Club is a modern bar and supper club in downtown Omaha. Serving brunch daily and dinner Tuesday – Saturday, the kitchen is led by Culinary Director Marvin Woods and the menu features fresh interpretations of supper club classics, from relish trays for the table to prime rib carved tableside. Our full bar is mixing up classic cocktails like our Brown Sugar Brandy Old Fashioned (made with spirits from local Brickway Brewery and Distillery) and playful recreations of after-dinner sippers like the Pink Squirrel and Grasshopper. Housed on the ground level of the Hilton Omaha, Nick’s Quorum draws inspiration from the original supper clubs in the Midwest (notice our “immediate seating available” sign) at the host stand.

A Restaurant Host/Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.


What will I be doing?

As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needsSeat guests and manage the seating chartMonitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flowPerform opening and closing duties, as neededAssist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.Ensure knowledge of menuRespond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerAssist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationshipsWhat are we looking for?
