Join a collaborative team of shipwrights, welders, and fabricators dedicated to constructing 40-50 ft aluminum hulls and superstructures. Your role will focus on aluminum MIG welding, assembling hull structures, and building superstructures, hardtops, and masts. You will also support the construction of metal outfitting and structural components on new build projects, such as foundations, railings, and masts. This position requires the ability to rig, lift, and guide components into position using cranes, mobile equipment, chain falls, and manual methods.
ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on aluminum hull structures.Assemble hull plating and superstructures.Build and install superstructures, hardtops, and masts.Support the construction of metal outfitting and structural components.Rig, lift, and guide components into position safely.
Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of welding and fabrication experience.Expertise in aluminum welding.Proficient in MIG welding.Knowledge of plate fitting and profile forming.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Leadership qualities.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the marine industry is an asset.Lloyd certification (marine industry specific) preferred.10+ years of experience is a bonus.Excellent attention to detail and quality.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Solution-focused team player.

Work Environment
