As an Alternatives Fund Controller in the Alternatives Fund Management team, you define and deliver operational excellence for our funds. You collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless financial processes and reporting. You drive solutions that support our commitment to client service, diversity, and inclusion.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee onboarding of new funds, including review of offering materials and account setup.Review and sign off on fund NAV packages and financial statements.Manage cash operations and investor allocations for assigned funds.Direct preparation and approval of capital call and distribution letters.Evaluate quarterly performance reports for private equity fund of funds.Process subscriptions and redemptions for hedge and multi-asset funds.Engage daily with fund administrators to resolve accounting and reporting issues.Prepare and review regulatory filings and related data.Monitor third-party service providers for quality and compliance.Develop board meeting materials and support governance activities.Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives within the team.Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
Demonstrate 3+ years of fund accounting experience for private equity and/or hedge funds.Apply partnership accounting expertise in capital or unitized structures.Exhibit strong understanding of private equity and hedge fund mechanics.Prepare and review financial statements with accuracy and attention to detail.Communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.Lead by example and solve complex issues creatively.Negotiate solutions across teams with a detail-oriented approach.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
