Job Description:

GDIT is seeking an Alternate Contractor Special Security Officer (ACSSO) to perform work at two GDIT facilities in St. Louis MO.  Candidate must have knowledge and experience in ICD 705 facility construction.  The Candidate must be dynamic, use critical thinking skills to affect necessary changes to maintain construction compliance, and communicate progress to the internal and external customers. The candidate will assume full ACSSO responsibilities for both GDIT facilities operations and compliance.   


HOW AN ALTERNATE CONTRACTOR SPECIAL SECURITY OFFICER (ACSSO) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Responsible for daily security operations and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) compliance for the facilityAdminister personnel security system for clearances and periodic reinvestigations through JPAS and customer methodsCoordinate and conduct annual security education and training in relation to company and customer requirementsTrack and monitor classified contracts andDD-254sWork with manager to Investigate, prepare, and submit Security Violations and Incident Reports as required by applicable IC directives and customer policyAct as ISSO for the program's facilityOther security functions as required


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of security experience required.Required Experience: 5+ years of security experience requiredTechnical Certification: Must be ICD705 certifiedRequired Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office SuiteSecurity Clearance Level: Must have an Active TS (Top Secret) security clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examLocation: On-site in two separate facilities in St Louis, MO and willingness to work in both locationsUS Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
