BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• High School or GED.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge of supply chain scheduling/forecasting analysis.
• Quality or laboratory experience.
Essential Functions
• Use various computers and databases to ensure that the forecast, order, inventory, and specification adherence of alloy for casting operations is accurate and on time.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Applications, especially Excel.
• Solid data entry and organization skills.
• Become proficient in key supply chain databases of ARS, oracle planning, MES and LIMS.
• Conduct periodic quality systems audits.
• Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork.
• Willingness to work flexible hours for production coverage requirements.
• Desire to learn new programs and concepts.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Forecast, order, manage inventory levels, and ensure specification adherence of alloy for casting operations.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Short- and Long-term alloy forecasting and alloy budget.
• Foundry scheduling utilizing AHLC alloy requisition system.
• Alloy certifications through test bar, machined from casting and master heat certifications.
• Scheduling and processing of materials related to alloy certification requirements.
• Alloy and revert inventory controls/logistics.
• Cast log quality overview responsibility to assure compliance/traceability.
• Customer specific certifications required for PWA material specification.
• Customer specification review and LIMS sample plan creation with support of
process alloy owner.
• Communicate with Planning, Engineering, Operations, and suppliers on scheduling and quality issues.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend or implement corrective actions.
