Description
The Paramount Sales Apprentice is responsible for executing all functions relating to selling, distribution, brand development, promotion and merchandising of UJBAL’s Paramount Division’s fine wine and craft beer portfolio in target accounts. The Paramount Sales Apprentice will develop deep understanding of UJBAL brands and working knowledge of the fine wine and craft beer segment. The Paramount Sales Apprentice will work together with Paramount Sales Representatives to accomplish UJBAL’s and goals, and develop a strong partnership with target accounts and UJBAL’s sales team to ensure seamless communication.
Qualifications
+ Must be 21 years or older
+ High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required
+ 1-3 years of sales experience preferred
+ Restaurant/Bar/ industry experience preferred
+ Valid driver’s license for applicable state
+ Able to secure and maintain auto liability insurance for applicable state
+ Ability to secure and maintain a State Alcohol Sales Permit in accordance with state laws
Responsibilities
+ Build and sustain business relationships with key accounts in a given geographic area for key brands
+ Assist Paramount Sales Representatives with merchandising, writing orders, and sales routes
+ Develop, merchandise, display and implement specific brand building programs in target accounts
+ Ensure brands are advertised at the point of purchase
+ Educate customers and retailers on United’s wine portfolio
+ Perform monthly training seminars in accounts promoting a specific product line
+ Work with the sales and marketing teams to yield greatest distribution and sales volume results
+ Assist in brand special events
+ Assist with events in accounts, festivals, etc.
+ Receive programming from management to implement and design programs in accounts
+ Work some extended hours and some weekends as needed
+ Must be available for occasional travel
+ Drive to all call points
+ Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions
+ Regular, reliable attendance required

+ Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs), with some overhead lifting required
