Installing and Upgrading SQL Servers, including applying Service PacksMonitoring Database Server health, and tuning  -Optimal server performance   -Monitor the error log or event log for database errors   -Routine database maintenance, and the overall system maintenanceMaintaining and managing SQL Server disk space to insure storage is properly utilizedPerforming backup and recovery  -Establishing standards and schedules for database backups   -Developing recovery procedures for each database   -Making sure that the backup schedules meet the recovery requirements Managing Database users and security Working with developers to tune queries, how to use indexes, etc.Log shipping, mirroring, high availability, transaction log Transferring Data – importing and exporting data to and from the SQL ServerCreating and scheduling SQL Server jobs to perform database maintenance activity -Rebuilding indexes -Updating statistics -Consistency checkEstablishing and enforcing Standards Creating and testing Disaster Recovery PlanProviding 24 Hours support
