Department Travel & Facilities Position Airport Assistant Location Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan Qualification High School / Matriculation or equivalent. Additional coursework or certification in airport-related fields is a plus. Experience Previous experience in airport operations is preferred, especially in ground handling, refueling, or related support functions. Experience in operating mechanical or electrical airport equipment is also beneficial. Requirements Additional coursework or certification in airport-related field is a plus Knowledge of airport operations and regulations is preferred Familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment is an advantage Prior airport experience will be preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work in remote locations with flexible shifts Responsibilities Provide assistance to passengers with check-in, boarding, and baggage handling. Provide ground support assistance in aircraft ground handling operations, including refueling. Provide emergency response and firefighting in case of any emergency at the airport. Assist with the installation of portable runway lighting and airport navigational and visual aids. Assist passengers with special needs, including those requiring wheelchair assistance. Communicate with airline staff, ground services, and camp personnel to ensure efficient airport operations. Assist in aircraft ground handling operations, including operating ground support equipment. Assist with the handling and tracking of passenger baggage, including loading and unloading. Ensure baggage is properly labeled and routed to the correct destination. Adhere to all airport safety regulations and procedures. Assist with maintenance and construction work at the airport. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of airport facilities. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department. Perform any tasks assigned by the Line Manager regarding airport operations. Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.
