This position is onsite in Fort Worth\. **Aircrew Flight Equipment / Aircrew Life Support Equipment Technician** An aircrew flight equipment / aircrew life support equipment technician supports flight operations by maintaining, inspecting, and repairing essential safety equipment such as oxygen systems, helmets, parachutes, and survival gear, ensuring aircrew readiness and safety during missions\. Their work is critical to the operational effectiveness and survival of aircrew members in both routine and emergency situations\. An ALSE technician serves a vital member of the Flight Operations Center\. The Flight Operations Center \(FOC\) is the central hub for managing and coordinating all aspects of flight operations\. It coordinates resources such as crew scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and ground services to minimize delays and ensure smooth operations\. The FOC analyzes operational data to help improve efficiency and safety protocols over time\. Overall, the Flight Operations Center is essential for maintaining the reliability and effectiveness of aviation operations\. **What you’ll be doing as an Aircrew Flight Equipment /Aircrew Life Support Equipment Technician** + Manages, performs, and schedules inspections, maintenance, and adjustments of assigned aircrew flight equipment / aircrew life support equipment \(AFE/ALSE\), and associated supplies, and inventories assets\. + Inspects, maintains, packs and adjusts aircrew flight equipment such as flight helmets, oxygen masks, flotation devices, survival kits, helmet mounted devices, night vision and other ocular systems, and other types of AFE/ALSE systems to ensure serviceability based on required specifications and technical publications\. + Disassembles, assembles, inspects, fabricates, cleans, repairs, and packs aerospace system components such as protective/flight clothing, flotation equipment, and emergency evacuation systems\. + Schedules, supervises, and conducts aircrew continuation training on associated flight and survival equipment and systems\. + Maintains database, ALSMS/TERMS, and other computer\-generated products to maintain inspection, accountability, inventory, and documentation on AFE/ALSE issued to aircrews or prepositioned on aircraft\. + Ensures proper OSHA, safety standards, SOP, TMs, technical guidelines, and user manual procedures are followed\. + Conducts quality assurance and self\-inspections to ensure compliance with policies and directives\. **Qualifications** **Skills You Bring To this Role** + A graduate of a Service training program, equivalent technical training courses, or FAA equivalent training courses\. + At least 5 years hands\-on experience as a certified AFE/ALSE Technician\. + Experience in using Army Tm's, Army TAAMS system, Air Force Technical Orders system, Training Circulars \(Army TC\), FedLog, Excel, Aircrew Life Support/Flight Equipment Management system \(ALSMS/FERMS\) + Experience with MUB\-20/P\-Combat Edge flight equipment, Army Air Warrior systems, NAVAIR, Technical Publications **What you need to be successful** + Excellent verbal and written communications skills\. + Knowledge of sewing machine operations and timing adjustments + Experience in AFE/ALSE Shop Management\. **What we offer you in return** + You’ll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule + 80 hours of Personal Time Off \(PTO\) + 120 hours Vacation time + 12\-13 paid holidays per year + 6 weeks parental leave + Tuition reimbursement + Competitive salary + Comprehensive health insurance + On\-site clinic, pharmacy, physical therapy, and licensed counselor + Access to more than 11 Employee Resource Groups + And so much more It’s time to make your mark on the future of aviation\.
