STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Painters in Perryville, Missouri to support aircraft paint preparation, base coat application, quality assurance, and finishing work. In this role, you’ll contribute to the appearance, protection, and performance of corporate aircraft while ensuring FAA compliance and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Prep and paint aircraft in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals Apply base coats, layouts, and finish coatings using various paint systems Operate air tools, polishers, sanders, and electrostatic spray equipment Maintain high standards of quality control and paint booth cleanliness Work closely with the parts department to ensure timely material availability Train junior team members and promote best practices in safety and workmanship Supervise and delegate tasks when needed, while maintaining responsibility for final output Maintain all workspaces and shop areas in an organized, professional manner Communicate clearly with team leads, vendors, and customers as needed Follow FAA regulations, OSHA standards, and all company safety policies Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of experience painting aircraft required Proficient with air equipment, spray guns, pressure pots, and laser levels Familiar with base coat application, layout, sanding, and stripping techniques Ability to work independently and lead others when needed Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines Strong communication skills and team-first mindset Must pass pulmonary physical and respiratory fit test prior to employment Must be able to wear protective gear and perform work at heights using ladders or scaffolds Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, bending, squatting, and climbing ladders Comfortable working in tight spaces and varied aircraft positions Work may take place inside hangars or on exterior aircraft ramps Exposure to paint chemicals and protective equipment required Benefits:STS Technical Services provides a competitive benefits package that includes:
