Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft. The role involves servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and overhauling aircraft and aircraft engines. This position requires expertise in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding aircraft structures, systems, and functional components, as well as assembling and installing various components using hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, systems, and functional components.Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges, test equipment, and machines such as shears, sheet metal brakes, and welding equipment.Research and apply FAA technical data relevant to assigned tasks.Ensure all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition.Complete and document all work performed in compliance with FAA regulations.Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, particularly with commercial and cargo aircraft.H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.Experience with large commercial aircraft preferred, but corporate, general, or military aircraft experience will be considered.Flexibility to work any shift.Completion of a comprehensive back ground check, verification of credentials, and a pre-employment drug test as per DOT regulations.Additional Skills & Qualifications
A&P License preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.Proficiency in documenting maintenance performed on required forms.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality with work products.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our work environment involves maintaining commercial/cargo aircraft and requires availability for any shift/schedule, including Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat schedules, with shifts from 7 am-4 pm or 3:30 pm-12 am (including an additional $0.50/hour differential). While overtime is a possibility, it is not guaranteed. The role is a direct placement opportunity.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00/hr.
