Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technician with a strong background in line maintenance for larger jets, such as the Boeing 737. This role requires hands-on experience with Boeing aircraft, solid troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with YVR operations. Candidates must be able to obtain a RAIC and pass necessary complaince checks. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds.

Responsibilities

Perform arrival and departure checks on aircraft.Conduct service, daily, and weekly checks.Address inbound snags and perform larger checks as needed.Maintain hangar cleanliness and fuel vehicles (with RAIC obtained).Work on line maintenance tasks for various M2 category aircraft.

Required Skills

Minimum of 2 years line experience with larger jets, especially Boeing 737.Strong troubleshooting abilities.Transport Canada AME M2 or E licenseProficiency in line maintenance and aircraft maintenance repair.Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with forklifts and AWP.Background in automotive maintenance (1-2 years of experience).First responder certificate (ROC-A).Open to unlicensed candidates with substantial experience.

Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors 100% of the time, alongside a collaborative team of 23 individuals. The position involves independent work across four rotating shifts, with crews of 4-5 people each. Shifts include 10am-10pm or 10pm-10am, with schedules such as 5 days on/5 days off or 4 days on/4 days off. Once RAIC is obtained, driving vehicles becomes part of the duties.

The pay range for this position is $84198.00 - $134888.00/yr.
