Aircraft Lead Dispatcher
13524BRJob Description:The job description is for a Lead Flight Dispatcher who will oversee dispatch operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to optimize flight schedules and coordinate logistics, enhancing the overall experience for Senior Executives, Administrative Assistants and Crew Members. Responsibilities: + Manage dispatcher duties, including dispatch of aircraft as defined in the Company Operations Manual (COM). + Flight following for all domestic and international trips. + Complete and audit post-flight records. + Reconcile aircraft and facility expenses and provide financial reports. + Manage and assist with coordination of facility activities and meeting needs. + Participate in and support the Safety Management System (SMS) and BASC Standards. + Possess working knowledge of FAA regulations, airfield operations, and air traffic management. + Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager and Chief Pilot. + Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules. Qualifications: + At least 5 years of experience in FAR Part 91 aircraft scheduling. + Familiarity with Part 135. + Knowledge of FOS scheduling software. + Familiarity with all aspects of Business Aviation. + High school diploma or equivalent (required). + Bachelor’s Degree (preferred). Key Skills: + Ability to interact with executive-level customers. + Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills (fluent in Japanese desired). + Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. + Proficiency with office administration computer applications. + Knowledge of aviation and business software programs (preferably FOS). + Strong base knowledge of IT for researching, analyzing, and implementing future hardware and software needs of the Aircraft Division. + Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. + Ability to organize workload, prioritize needs, and work under pressure. + Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on valuing diversity, inclusion, and effective conflict resolution. + Adaptable communication skills with a variety of people and situations. + Great oral and written technical skills for organizing, creating, and maintaining documentation and manuals. + Strong organizational, administrative, time management, and project management skills. + Working knowledge of FAA regulations, airfield operations, and air traffic management. + This role reports to the General Manager of the Aircraft Division and is integral to the Aviation team, serving as the primary point of contact for the executive leadership team and their assistants Auto req ID:13524BRCompany:United States Steel CorporationPosting Title:Aircraft Lead DispatcherWork Location - City:Pittsburgh Company Overview: Since 1901, U.
