Job Description A federal client of Insight Global is seeking an Air Mobility Operations and Planning Subject Matter Expert for a critical role in a research effort supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory and Air Mobility Command (AMC) transformation efforts. The Air Mobility Operations and Planning SME provide executive-level assistance solving unusually complex problems in support of policy and process development, management, and/or organizational improvement. The successful candidate will possess in-depth understanding of the operational planning process as applied to air mobility operations and has significant experience through practice and education. The successful candidate will ensure team efforts to develop and articulate innovative solutions to challenging research tasks are always informed by current understanding of DOD and USAF doctrine, concepts, and tactics. The successful candidate will work daily with diverse project stakeholders, including junior and senior government civilian and military personnel, contractor personnel from other companies. Skills and Requirements 8-10 years' experience in Air Mobility Operations and planning AMC (Air Mobility Command) experience Ability to understand of current DoD and USAF doctrine, tactics, and concepts of operations related to air mobility operations and planning familiarity with the operational planning process at a Combatant Command or air component headquarters Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage projects from concept to production. Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications TS/ SCI Clearance 2+ years of MAJCOM-level staff or 618 AOC experience. Understanding of AFFOR staff roles in doctrine and operations. Current or recent HQ AMC (especially A3) experience. Familiarity with AMC transformation initiatives. Experience with Palantir Foundry / Envision.
