Job Description:

The Air Freight Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the air freight team, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of cargo via air. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and a focus on service excellence, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate import/export air freight operations, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and regulatory compliance.Manage a team of air freight coordinators; provide guidance, training, and performance reviews.Liaise with airlines, ground handlers, customs brokers, and customers to ensure smooth cargo movement.Monitor booking schedules, flight allocations, and shipment tracking; troubleshoot delays or exceptions.Ensure timely and accurate submission of shipping documents, including Air Waybills, manifest, customs declarations, etc.Review and optimize operational processes to improve productivity and service quality.Coordinate with the sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure proper handover and execution of shipments.Resolve service issues and customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.Support implementation of system tools (e.g., CargoWise, if applicable) and maintain accurate data entry and documentation.Prepare operational reports and KPIs for management review.Ensure compliance with all local and international trade regulations, including IATA, ICAO, and customs requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Degree, and 5-10 years' experience in Freight Forwarding industry
