The Air Data Sensors L5 Product Manager is accountable for the full lifecycle of products and services from inception through completion, inclusive of pursuit to order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service and support, and long-term strategic and financial business plans for the Air Data Sensors product lines within the Sensors BU. This encompasses air data probes including pitot, pitot-static, multi-function, temperature, boom, and flush products for all market channels
This role is accountable for managing the lifecycle cost, schedule, performance and on-time delivery of products and systems of major programs. Ensures customer satisfaction for the product portfolio, and continuously improves costs throughout the product’s lifecycle. The position also develops the strategy for the product portfolio and leads the value stream through deployment of strategies consistent with the Air Data Sensors strategic plans. This leadership position reports directly to the Air Data Sensors L4 Product Manager and is an active participant of the ADS leadership team.
**What YOU Will Do:**
+ Leads several Program Management Teams (PMTs) of cross functional members that regularly manage new products/services with new market capabilities and offerings and drive proactive problem-solving across the product line
+ Collaborate to address challenges such as resource allocation, yield improvements, and on-time delivery (OTD) issues.
+ Manages large risks with meaningful financial and schedule impacts and strategic implications for the enterprise.
+ Ability to have large impact on customer satisfaction because of complexity, size, and dynamics of the role.
+ Strong knowledge of product portfolio and customers to assist with addressing challenges due to unforeseen circumstances.
+ Ability to influence and negotiate elements with customers to achieve and/or exceed enterprise commitments while improving Customer satisfaction.
+ Proactively identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, assembly, and quality control. Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards in hardware production.
+ Monitor product line strategies and metrics, such as production schedules, inventory reduction, and cycle times, to ensure operational goals are achieved.

**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership experience with a focus on hardware production and manufacturing.
+ Experience in managing product lifecycles, continuous improvement efforts, and/or supply chain coordination for physical products.
+ Occasional travel required <10%.
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
+ Ability to drive strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, finance, or related field preferred.
+ Master’s degree (MBA, MOT, Engineering Management or related) is preferred.
+ Program Management experience highly preferred.
+ Preferred candidate will possess a strong development background, engineering and/or execution experience
+ Prior Aerospace and Defense experience

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
