We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient AI professional to join our team in Shanghai, China. This role will focus on the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI solutions, with an emphasis on building scalable, secure, and high‑performance AI applications tailored to Eaton China’s business needs. This role will be responsible for leading the design and development of both front-end and back-end components for AI-powered platforms. The role requires deep technical expertise in AI frameworks, data engineering, model integration, and system architecture. **What you’ll do:** **Drive AI Adoption in China:** + Maintain and optimize the Eaton China's Microsoft Azure AI Services environment to support China AI capabilities. + Design and develop front-end and back-end components for AI applications, including building/consuming APIs, creating customer-centric user interfaces and designing integrations with other systems using .Net, JavaScript, Angular or React, SQL. + Deploy Eaton’s standard AI solutions to address business needs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and operational goals. + Provide technical guidance and support to application owners in developing the AI solutions. + Lead the deployment and integration of AI applications and platforms within Eaton China, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and data privacy standards. **Project Delivery:** + Partner with business stakeholders to document the business requirements, design AI solutions, and independently deliver implementations that fulfill business requirements. + Manage tasks across multiple AI projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. + Collaborate with project managers, Enterprise IT teams across different countries, and external service providers to develop and deploy AI solutions. + Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with AI projects, implementing corrective actions as needed. **Innovation and Continuous Improvement:** + Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the organization. + Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation, learning, and adaptation. + Collaborate with global AI teams to share the best practices, leverage existing solutions, and drive continuous improvement **Qualifications:** **Experience** : + 10+ years in Information Technology + 5+ years in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science + Proven track record of deploying AI projects in global organizations **Technical Expertise** : + Strong knowledge of AI technologies: ML, NLP, Computer Vision, Data Analytics, RAG + Hands-on experience with AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure AI Services, Palantir, DeepSeek, Qwen) + Familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) + Cloud & hybrid infrastructure expertise (Microsoft Azure, Ali Cloud) + Front-end: React or Angular; Back-end: Node.js, Python, .NET + Proficiency in scripting & automation (Python, SQL, JavaScript, PowerShell, Azure CLI) **Skills** : + Ability to translate AI use cases into business requirements + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strategic and data-driven mindset + Excellent business analysis and multitasking across projects + Outstanding communication and stakeholder management **Preferred** : + Experience in multinational, distributed teams + Knowledge of China's regulatory and data privacy standards + Proficiency in Mandarin and English We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
