CGI has an immediate need for an AI Solutions Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of AI-driven solutions across our client's enterprise. This role will bridge the gap between strategic business goals and technical execution, translating AI and automation opportunities into scalable architecture. The AI Solutions Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and deliver generative AI, machine learning, and automation solutions that enhance productivity, streamline operations, and create long-term business value. Their core mandate is to harness AI to create new revenue streams, optimize operations, and secure our client's long-term competitive advantage in the market.
Your future duties and responsibilities:Solution Architecture & Integration
. Design scalable AI/ML solution architecture aligned with enterprise technology strategy.
. Define system interfaces, APIs, data pipelines, and integration points for AI solutions.
. Partner with engineering and data science teams to ensure successful deployment of models and tools.
Proof of Concept & Implementation
. Lead hands-on development of POCs to validate use cases and evaluate
tools/platforms.
. Build prototypes and iterate quickly to test AI capabilities before scaling.
. Support implementation of production-ready AI solutions across departments.
Technology Evaluation & Standards
. Evaluate AI technologies, frameworks, and cloud platforms for enterprise suitability.
. Define design patterns and reusable components to accelerate delivery of AI projects.
Business Alignment & Use Case Definition
. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into AI use cases.
. Develop high-level and detailed solution blueprints that meet both technical and
business needs.
Governance & Responsible AI
. Ensure AI solutions align with organizational standards for security, privacy, and ethics.
. Contribute to development of governance frameworks and success metrics for AI adoption.
Innovation & Thought Leadership
. Stay current with AI trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
. Advocate for best practices and mentor others on AI architecture and implementation strategies.
AI Strategy & Use Case Identification
. Partner with business leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities across
departments (e.g., sales, operations, customer support, finance, HR).
. Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to uncover use cases for automation and AI-driven decision support.
. Prioritize AI initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and alignment with company goals.
Productivity Enablement
. Work with IT, enablement, and L&D teams to identify AI tools that enhance daily work, e.g., meeting assistants, content generation, knowledge bots, and workflow automation.
. Drive employee adoption through training, communication, and support.
Thought Leadership & Trends
. Stay current on AI trends, emerging technologies, and vendor landscape.
. Serve as an internal thought leader on how AI can transform work and create a competitive advantage.
. 10+ years of experience in technology, product management, consulting, or innovation roles
. Strong understanding of AI technologies, especially generative AI and machine learning
. Proven ability to identify business problems and design technology-enabled solutions
. Experience managing cross-functional projects from ideation through implementation
. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Desired qualifications:
. Experience working with AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI)
. Experience architecting production-grade AI/ML solutions (e.g., cloud-native,
containerized)
. Familiarity with MLOps, data engineering pipelines, and model lifecycle management
. Proficiency in designing secure, scalable API integrations and AI inference pipelines
. Familiarity with enterprise SaaS tools and APIs (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, Workday, NetSuite)
. Background in business process automation (e.g., RPA, workflow automation tools)
Other Information:
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $185,100.00.
