Solutions ArchitectResponsible for designing functional technology solutions, overseeing and reviewing development and implementation of solutions, and providing support to software development teams under supervision of Technical Lead and in close collaboration with Lead Engineers.

About the Role: We are seeking a talented and passionate Solution Architect to join our AI team at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In this role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and intuitive user interfaces for various tools, including chatbots, the internal AI tool called AIDA, and visual tools such as dashboards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements, create indicative wireframes, and produce high-fidelity, development ready, accessible designs that meet user and business requirements and conform to the IMF brand guidelines.
Education and BackgroundBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field;Previous work experience in technical architecture or related field5+ years of experience with deep understanding in databases and analytics, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, Data warehousing, big data, NoSQL, business analytics, Cloud Architecture, Vector Databases, AI and Machine Learning knowledge.Extensive experience in technical design, programming languages and software tools.Experienced professional (8+ years experience) as ML engineer, architect, lead data scientist or any similar distributed or public cloud platform, with a desire to assume greater responsibilities as a leader and mentor, while still being hands-on4+ years hands-on experience in Azure architecture design and implementation for large-scale enterprise solutions, experience in AI products and ServicesExperience working in Agile frameworks and delivery methods (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).Expertise (4+ years) in the design and development of complex data-driven architectures for distributed computing and orchestration technology (Kubernetes) and scalingExperience with Azure platform & system architecturesProficiency with Databricks, MLflow, Flink, or similar AI/ML/ML technologies is an advantageExperience with SQL, NoSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, and Spark, Python, PySpark for model development and ML OpsKnowledge of DevOps, MLOps principles and practices, and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.Strong familiarity with higher level trends in LLMs and open-source platforms.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement AI achitecture strategies, best practices, and standards to enhance AI ML model deployment and monitoring efficiency. Responsible for the design and development of custom AI architecture for AI Systems, including data ingestion to preprocessing to scaled AI model compute and ensure the architecture meets all SLA requirements. Work closely with members of technology and business teams in the design, development, and implementation of Enterprise AI platformCollaborate closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software engineers to ensure smooth integration of machine learning models into production systems.Oversee the design of scalable and reliable infrastructure for AI, ML , GenAI, LLM model use and deployment.Create design of GenAI robust monitoring systems to track model performance, data quality, and infrastructure.Implement security measures and compliance standards to protect sensitive data and ensure adherence to Fund security standards and plan, execute and complete compliance and accreditation exercises for deployment of solutions.Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI processes and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing and for the compliance with internal architecture processes including Enterprise Architecture Reviews and solution design evaluations.Build and scale production-ready AI systems that operate reliably at enterprise levels, ensuring long-term business impact in close collaboration with other architects and under direct supervision of Technical Lead.Leads and directs Engineering teams towards optimal platform architectures on Azure and hybrid environments.Supports processes with respect to data model information domain, connector, and mastering/record linking designs, estimates, assumptions and scope.Supports the technical development and evolution of IMF domain and master data models for the AI data domains. Provides specialist technical support to Data Scientists and AI Engineers in the creation and use of AI Architectures following established and accredited Services deployed at the Fund.Provides technical assistance to a broad community of AI Platform users, such as software application engineers and data scientists, through research, investigation, collaboration, and hands‐on debugging, often driven by specific use case requirements
