Your expertise will help clients tackle their most complex business challenges, guiding them from initial strategy through execution. In this role, you will report to the Director of Solutions Architecture, ensuring alignment with our broader vision and business goals while driving innovation at every stage.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As an AI Solutions Architect at the Manager level, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead the solutioning and technical development of Generative AI projects executed by development teams Provide technical guidance on Generative AI tools, frameworks, and platforms Design scalable and secure AI-driven applications and services within the organization Collect and clarify existing business requirements to ensure solutions align with client needs Support the implementation and management of enterprise architecture processes Conduct periodical code reviews to maintain high quality standards Shape and deliver digital products that exceed client and internal quality expectations Assist Enterprise Architects in assessing and selecting technology solutions Supervise and support vendor developers within assigned projects Drive improvements in internal development, design techniques, and documentation practicesExperiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering Azure certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer) and Microsoft Development Certifications preferred Extensive experience in large-scale software solution implementations Ability to work in agile teams and product delivery environments Expertise in Gen AI technologies: LLMs (GPT-4, ChatGPT, Gemini, Llama), Agent Orchestration (Semantic Kernel, LangChain), Vector Databases (Azure AI Search, Qdrant), RAG, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Microsoft Copilots Strong background in Azure Machine Learning and Azure AI Services Proficient in cloud-ready architecture using Azure infrastructure and platform services Hands-on knowledge of service-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architectures, including RDBMS/NoSQL (MS SQL, MongoDB), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with DevOps, CD/CI, virtualization, automation, and defect tracking systems (Azure DevOps, Github, JIRA) Skilled in high-level UX principles including user stories, persona building, and prototyping This role does not require professional engineering licensure and is not classified as a formal engineering position under provincial regulatory definitions. The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $148,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
