About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to join our Transformation & AI team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and deploying real-world AI applications at scale.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-powered applications using Microsoft Azure cloud services, with a focus on App Services, AI Apps, and Azure AI Foundry. The ideal candidate should be comfortable coding in Python, developing UI web applications, and working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
This is a senior engineering role, requiring not only technical depth but also the ability to influence, collaborate, guide other engineers and stakeholders and help shape the future of AI at Accruent.
Must-Have Skills
Proven hands-on experience with LLMs (Azure OpenAI, HuggingFace, RAG pipelines, etc.). Strong experience with Azure Cloud – building and deploying App Services and AI Apps. Experience working with Azure AI Foundry and integrating AI models. Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development and automation. Experience in UI/web app development (HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular). Experience integrating LLMs into business process workflows and chat-based UI (Teams, Power Apps, etc.). Strong knowledge of databases – both RDBMS (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (CosmosDB, MongoDB).Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy AI applications leveraging LLMs and Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Foundry). Build and deploy scalable App Services and AI Apps on the Azure Cloud. 100% hand-on development of Python-based solutions and UI web applications for AI functions. Work with structured and unstructured data, leveraging both RDBMS and NoSQL databases including Snowflake. Rapidly build, test, and iterate on proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for real-world business challenges. Mentor other IT staff and provide technical leadership across the IT organization. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to productionize AI applications. Stay current with emerging LLM frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, n8n, etc.) and integrate them into enterprise workflows.Desired Soft Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Software engineering experience, with work background focused on AI/ML. Solid understanding of software engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps in Azure.Preferred Skills
Azure certification (AI Engineer Associate, Solutions Architect, or Developer). Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, n8n, etc.). Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, Azure Cognitive Search). Knowledge of RPA tools (Power Automate, UI Path) and integration with enterprise systems. Exposure to building chat-based AI applications integrated with Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, or web portals.
