General Summary:

Job Overview

Support startups and developers in QVIC to build innovative solutions leveraging Qualcomm platforms (Mobile, AI PC, Edge AI, IoT):

Product/feature development, software integration, testing, debugging and performance tuning and optimization

Perform software integration, testing, debugging, and performance tuning for AI workloads.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical issues and provide guidance.

Required Skills

Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, etc).

Hands-on experience with end-to-end AI solution development (Edge AI and cloud AI solution).

Communication skills, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to IoT ecosystems, real-time AI applications, and hybrid edge-cloud deployments.

Knowledge of LLM architectures, fine-tuning, and RAG systems (vector databases like FAISS/Milvus).

Familiarity with Linux, embedded development workflows, and cross-compilation.

Prior experience in startups or innovation programs.

Analytical, problem solving skills and willingness to work with external partners.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Background (education/industry/years of experience/English ability)

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

2+ years of AI/Software Engineering or related work experience Ø Working experience in startups is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
