TITLE: AI Sensing Architecture & Data Acquisition Engineer
DUTIES: Design, develop, integrate and maintain ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) systems in mule vehicles; Verify outputs and calibrate ADAS sensors and components, including Front Camera, Driver Monitoring System, Surround View or other ADAS components/sensors; Debug and report ADAS issues in the vehicle; Collect and analyze data from ADAS systems; Assist development and maintenance of the ADAS software; Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of ADAS components; Maintain purchase requests, inventory, and relationships with suppliers for specified components; Stay up-to-date on the latest ADAS technologies and develop technical expertise; Technically lead and guide team on Sensor Sub-System Bring-up for components like LiDAR's (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors, Radars, GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and other ground truth systems; Setup data loggers for logging raw feeds, CAN (Controller Area Network) feeds, ethernet feeds from ADAS sensors and outputs from Ground Truth Systems; Setup Automotive Ethernet and CAN networking and Time Synchronization for all the components of the instrumented vehicle. Up to 10% domestic travel required.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study and 2 years of experience in job offered or related position in Automotive Electronics. Experience must include: Experience with Vehicle level, System level, and HIL Validation; prototyping and building systems combining mechanical, electrical and software components; experience with CAN networking, Vector Canoe/CANalyzer/CANape, Automotive Ethernet, Time Synchronization, ROS, Wireshark, and LINUX command line; experience with GNSS systems and their software, including OxTS NavSuite; working with Front Camera, Driver Monitoring System, Surround View or other ADAS components/sensors.
