As an AI Product Manager, you will drive strategic vision related to AI implementation and product development of key AI features in all Health and Safety (H&S) products and tools. This role will drive roadmaps, key business metrics related to AI, and develop requirements for innovative AI technologies for our customers and peers. This role is cross-functional and will work with Data Center (DC) Operations, and Tech teams across multiple VP organizations in an agile environment. The role will partner with senior stakeholders across DC Operations, H&S Legal, and DCHS to build Amazon-scale AI solutions. The candidate will define clear requirements for AI in ambiguity, proactively educate team members, leaders, and other support teams on AI, and communicate effectively and consistently throughout all levels of the business. The role will evolve with the maturity and growth of the AI products and requires a high degree of flexibility, including the ability to deep dive time critical products and deliver continuous improvement actions.
The AWS Health and Safety (H&S) team is an expanding a dynamic team that is critical to enabling AWS’s growth around the world, as well as ensuring compliance of AWS’s global operations, including physical data centers, as well as other AWS facilities, customer-facing enterprises and products. The H&S team has responsibility for architecting and implementing AWS’s global safety programs. This includes defining and implementing risk management and compliance systems and driving their continuous improvement; setting and refining global policies and procedures; overseeing the development of standards, tools, auditing and metrics, and employee training; ensuring effective engagement by H&S teams on global initiatives, including those that are part of Amazon’s ambitious sustainability goals; providing specialist expertise; and engaging with all AWS business units to provide scalable and H&S compliance strategies that support current and future business objectives while ensuring employee safety and compliance with H&S regulations.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple H&S products and tools. This includes maintenance, enhancements, troubleshooting, and deployment of new tools and features.
- Collaborate with AWS Product teams, Engineering, and Solution Architects in the development and implementation of AI based solutions
- Managing a product lifecycle with high impact
- Build and manage high quality product roadmaps based on business vision and strategy.
- Define business problems, desired customer experience, vision and product strategy.
- Partner with teams to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones, and drive delivery.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs to ensure the right features are built with the right quality at the right time.
- Partner with global product teams to identify and influence development of new products and services.
- Identify the gaps and pain points in the existing processes and drive improvements;
- Deep dive on issues and come up with solutions, creating solutions from scratch for short and long term
- Ability to identify business requirements and deliver those requirements to the customer
