AI/ML Technical Enablement Specialist

**DESCRIPTION**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Investigate electronic application and systems problems, analyze causal mechanisms, recommend appropriate actions, and own problem resolution with documentation.
+ Apply and improve electronic application and systems development processes, including system specification, modeling, simulation, calibration, DVP&R, and troubleshooting.
+ Collaborate with customers, technical and product teams, manufacturing engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver recommendations leading to quality product decisions.
+ Make decisions in areas of system design, requirements, calibration, and testing that impact subsystem quality and performance.
+ Review work of less-experienced developers/testers to ensure robust, reusable, and efficient design.
+ Provide independent leadership for smaller projects or ownership of complex components, products, systems, or services with higher ambiguity.
+ Coordinate and direct work amongst technicians and student employees; mentor and transfer knowledge to junior engineers.
+ Deliver independent execution of established and emerging work processes while continuously developing technology or product knowledge.
+ Facilitate a 12-week applied data science learning experience for engineers and technical staff.
+ Coach participants in using tools like Databricks, Amazon Q, Palantir, and ChatGPT for agent-based automation.
+ Guide learners in both code-based and low/no-code workflows to increase accessibility and impact.
+ Support learners in using Python-based tools (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn) and low-code platforms (e.g., Power BI, Dataiku).
+ Integrate LLM use cases such as prompt-driven analytics, code generation, and auto-documentation.
+ Review learner projects and provide personalized feedback to strengthen data science maturity.
+ Maintain a supportive coaching environment and collaborate to improve curriculum and resources.

**Education, Licenses, Certifications:**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Experience:**
+ Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision-making.
+ 2+ years in data science, analytics, engineering, or applied ML roles.
+ 1+ years teaching, mentoring, or delivering bootcamps/training programs.
+ Experience using LLMs like ChatGPT to enhance analytics or build internal tools.
+ Familiarity with MS Office tools preferred.
