Overview:
The hiring requirement is for a contractor in Digital & Transform team in Advanced Structures with expertise in AI, ML, and LLM to contribute to NPIs, sustenance, and technology development activities by designing, developing, and optimizing advanced machine learning models and algorithms. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions, enhance system performance, and drive innovation in aerospace technology development.
Education and mandatory skill requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Computer Science / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, or a related field with 3 to 5 years of experience, in a customer facing role. Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, preferably with applications in aerospace, defense, or related high reliability industries.Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.Experience with time-series analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong communication skills, to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred skill requirements:
Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g., DO-178C, ARP4754) and safety critical software development is a plus.Background in deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.Experience with MLOps and model deployment pipelines.
