Position Summary
The AI Project Manager will play a critical role in shaping the future of Trane Technologies by identifying, evaluating, and deploying AI-driven technologies across the enterprise. This role is responsible for partnering with functional and business leaders to uncover high-value opportunities, lead AI-enabled process transformation, and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and business performance.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role suited for a self-motivated professional with strong learning agility, passion for emerging technologies, and the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and prioritize AI and advanced technology opportunities to transform business processes and unlock significant financial and operational value.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of AI initiatives, including discovery, scoping, development, piloting, deployment, and adoption.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional experts, and technical teams to define requirements, success criteria, and implementation plans.
- Translate complex AI concepts into clear, compelling insights and recommendations for executive audiences.
- Develop business cases, ROI models, and value realization plans for AI initiatives.
- Drive organizational change management efforts to ensure effective implementation, user adoption, and sustainable outcomes.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies, methodologies, and best practices to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Serve as a champion of responsible, ethical, and secure use of AI across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, analytics, or related field.
- Two or more years of professional experience in AI, automation, analytics, or other advanced digital technologies.
- Demonstrated learning agility with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and translate them into practical business applications.
- Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proven leadership potential, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving initiatives forward.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a bias for action.
- Experience with AI, machine learning, data analytics, or automation tools (e.g., Python, ML platforms, RPA software) is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, waterfall, or hybrid) is an advantage.
