POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a Developer in our AI Modernization Team, you will work at the intersection of software engineering and AI tooling, building automated solutions that transform how legacy systems are migrated to modern platforms.
You will design and implement AI-driven tools using LangChain,Semantic Kernel,Devin, and other emerging technologies to automate code analysis, transformation, testing, and deployment. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge methodology that scales modernization efforts across diverse technology stacks and businesses.
You’ll be part of a high-impact, forward-thinking team led by the Director of Technology, bringing together AI Engineers, a Product Manager, and handpicked developers from across our portfolio. Together, the team is focused on redefining how we modernize legacy systems through AI-first approaches.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design, implement, and maintain AI-driven tooling to automate legacy system migrations (e.g., monoliths microservices, .NET Framework .NET Core, AngularJS modern frameworks).
· Collaborate with AI Engineers and the Head of Development to integrate Lang Chain and Semantic Kernel agents into workflows.
· Use platforms like Devin to orchestrate repetitive development tasks.
· Build modular, reusable utilities for parsing, transforming, and refactoring frontend, backend, and database code.
· Run proof of concepts for AI automation in areas such as test generation, API modernization, schema translation, and dependency analysis.
· Contribute to evolving the team’s sophisticated migration methodology, enhancing automation coverage and robustness.
· Adapt to diverse legacy stacks, including proprietary or niche technologies.
· Highly autonomous and proactive in identifying opportunities for automation.
· Strong collaborator with clear communication, especially in cross-functional technical teams.
· Willing to learn rapidly evolving AI tools and frameworks.
· Detail-oriented with a mindset for quality and maintainability, even when automating.
