AHT : Heat Treat Operator - 2nd shift

We are hiring Heat Treat Operators in Paramount, CA

As a Heat Treat Operator, you will:

Load and unload metal parts into furnaces for thermal treatment Verify part specifications and quantities based on shop orders Rack materials correctly to ensure proper heat flow Maintain heat separation and identification procedures Attach thermocouples and follow precise processing instructions Perform hardness inspections and visual quality checks Use forklifts to move material and assist in degreasing operations Accurately log production data and update the MRP/ERP system Monitor furnaces, assist with start-up/shut-down, and perform related tasks

This is a full-time opportunity. 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Mon–Fri)

Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour

The ideal candidate will have:

1+ year of experience in a heat treat or metals manufacturing setting (preferred) Basic knowledge of metal processing or industrial equipment High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in hot/cold environments U.S. Person status (ITAR requirement)

Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
