Responsibilities Provide agricultural support for damage control (pre and post-harvest) to all Serbian growers to deliver improved potato quality to support the long terms storage program. • Collaborate with growers to implement investments in potato warehouse and provide sufficient storing capacity for local potato crop. • Responsible for storage management implementation with suppliers for short, medium and long term crop storage including variety specific requirements for stored crop annually. • Develop and align detailed storage plan including storage best practices, antisprouting products and treatments calendar, storage parameters • Implement Pepsico Storage audit and use all storage monitoring systems for storage operations. Track potato quality performance through storage and determine the supply program for stored crop. • Develop maintenance plan and service for potato stores including buildings and systems. Qualifications Bachelor degree in Agriculture / agronomy. Operations/Logistics background in Potato Processing Industry would also be a strong asset. Educational background on cool storing technology for fresh produce. Experience on modern technology on potato harvesting and on electronic tools and software on damage mitigation. High-level English Effective interpersonal skills – credible, high level of technical knowledge and strong communication and influencing skills to all levels of farmer (owner/grower) up to leaders/Agronomists of large Grower Groups.
