Agility Senior Associate

As an Agility Lead in JP Morgan Chase as part of the Card Services Team which is aligned to Consumer & Community Banking, you will play a significant role as a champion for the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices within our teams. Leveraging your deep knowledge of product development methodologies and Agile principles, use your expert guidance, mentorship, and support to teams to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. As a recognized subject matter expert, put your knowledge to use to work on complex issues, exercise considerable judgment, and make impactful decisions that shape the operational and business direction of your sub-function. Your leadership, communication, and coaching skills will be instrumental in empowering teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and effectively, while continuously adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

Job responsibilities

Drive team planning and enable productive, efficient ways of workingGuide and support development teams in adopting agile practices to achieve organizational goalsFoster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across teamsTrack and manage team-level dependencies to ensure focused deliveryPrepare and present end-of-sprint demo materials for product leadersCapture and drive team improvement actions to promote speed, efficiency, and collaborationFacilitate key scrum cadences and quarterly planning activities to enhance team performance

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in coaching teams on agile methodologies and project managementExperience managing and developing individual contributorsAdvanced knowledge of product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practicesExpertise in agile delivery and multiple agile approaches, including Scrum and KanbanAbility to guide teams through complex projects, emphasizing iterative progress and adaptabilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on team collaborationDisplay advanced knowledge of monitoring agility metrics and driving continuous improvement

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification in Agile coachingFamiliarity with business acumen, change management, and continuous improvementExperience with internal stakeholder management and strategic thinkingAdaptability and decision-making skills in dynamic environments
