Agile Product Delivery Manager/Sr. Scrum Lead - INTL - India
Job Description • Drive End-to-End Product Delivery: o Oversee the delivery of product increments from planning to release. o Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of initiatives, epics, features in alignment with the product roadmap. o Facilitate, govern and guide planning sessions and workshops for product discovery or initiation. o Support Product Teams in Prioritization and Estimations of Product features through various techniques like RICE, KANO etc. o Manage dependencies across squads to ensure smooth and timely progress on product deliverables. • Facilitate Release Planning and Management: o Work with Product Owners and chapter leads to plan and execute product releases. o Support pre and post product release activities including L2 support alignment. o Improve agility in processes and tools to reduce time to market and enable faster deployments to productions. o Ensure frequent releases to gather customer feedback and iterate based on insights. o Ensure Quality of the deliverable is maintained by tracking Defect metrics like leakage, defect aging etc. • Facilitate Risk Management: o Identify risks that may impact product delivery and mitigate them proactively. o Address impediments and escalate issues to stakeholders when needed. • Metrics and Reporting: o Track key metrics and OKRs such as velocity, lead time, cycle time, and predictability to evaluate squad's performance. o Use data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. o Review with Product Owners, product performance (e.g., C-sat, adoption, product KPIs). o Ensure product development efforts align with desired outcomes and results. o Create dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility into product development progress for stakeholders like Portfolio leadership, sponsors etc. • Coach on Agile Processes: o Guide teams in adopting Agile practices like Scrum, Kanban, or a hybrid approach tailored to the product development context. o Coach cross-functional teams, product leaders, and stakeholders to embed Agile mindsets and practices that foster adaptability, autonomy, and innovation. Act as a catalyst for organizational change by challenging the status quo and co-creating improved ways of working. o Ensure Agile ceremonies (e.g., Daily scrum, retrospectives, planning) are productive and value driven. o Continuous Improvement: Encourage teams to reflect on processes and identify areas for improvement during retrospectives. o Encourage culture of inspect and adapt and failing fast through Sprint Reviews. • Support Team Enablement: o Fostering a Collaborative Environment: Build a psychologically safe space for team members to communicate openly and take ownership of their work. Promote a culture of accountability and self-organization. o Encourage opportunities of Innovation and Experimentation. • Partner with Product Owners: o To ensure delivery aligns with the product vision and business strategy. o To define and track OKRs successful completion. o In backlog prioritization to maximize business value and strategic impact. o To identify stakeholders and actively manage expectations. This will start off as a 6-month contract and is expected to extend to a 12-month contract. This position can sit fully remote in India, but also allows individuals to come into the Gurgaon office if local. Skills and Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an agile product delivery manager/scrum lead • Change management and enterprise-level agile transformation experience • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other agile tooling. - Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other agile frameworks • Strong product mindset, ensuring alignment with business value and priorities • Proven ability to manage dependencies across multiple teams and functions • Experience in senior stakeholder engagement and strategic discussions • Strong problem-solving, risk management, and conflict resolution skills • Experience with OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) and driving goal alignment • Ability to identify and implement efficiency improvements to optimize team performance • Strong communication and leadership skills, balancing assertiveness with collaboration • Strong EQ and experience dealing with challenging stakeholders • Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or equivalent). null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
