The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex digital transformations, ensuring they align with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the delivery of complex digital transformation projects in a public sector context, ensuring timely completion and alignment with GDS standards. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and success criteria. * Guide cross-functional teams in delivering solutions using Agile methodologies and Scrum framework. * Contribute to the creation of product backlogs, user stories, and release plans, prioritizing an Agile and user-centered approach. * Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. * Design and implement Agile processes and practices within the organization to enhance efficiency and user experience. * Work with User Researchers to integrate user feedback into Agile sprints, shaping a holistic view of the total user experience. * Facilitate the understanding of the end-to-end, front-to-back experience by mapping the Agile workflow at the intersection of technology, business, and design. * Embed Agile practices within the organization to create a sustainable approach to service delivery. * Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. * Stay current with emerging Agile trends, tools, and best practices. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Proven experience in Agile project management and delivery within the public sector, demonstrating mastery of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, etc.) and best practices. * Masterful proficiency in using Agile project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.). * Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality program management solutions in a professional setting. * Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities, as well as manage resource conflicts and trade-offs across multiple projects. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field. * GDS compliance knowledge and deep understanding of Agile methodologies. * Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and workshops. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and the software development life cycle (SDLC). * Experience in data analysis and reporting. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with Agile business analysis tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio). * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns. * Proficiency in data modeling and data management. * Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). * Passion for continuous learning and professional development. * Experience in service design within a government or public sector context. * Proficiency in using design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. * Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or Proto.io. * Knowledge of GDS Service Manual, Digital Principles, and other relevant guidelines. * Certifications in Agile methodologies, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), are highly desirable but not mandatory. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate Agile decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. * Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. * Understanding of risk management frameworks and tools, and strong skills in risk identification, analysis, and mitigation. * Proficiency in resource allocation, capacity planning, and leveling.
