Location: Poland only. Candidates must work in the office 5 days/week.
Work Hours: The working hours are from 11:00 – 19:00 daily with flexibility to work until 21:00 1 or 2 times/week. This is to cover teams in Poland as well as communicate effectively with Canada.
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional who can efficiently manage all aspects of an Agile scrum team in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Future Roles and Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain high quality, predicable, transparent, and sustainable delivery of team’s objectives for software development, currency upgrades and other technical projects.
• Facilitate key activities for all Agile ceremonies.
• Manage team to accurately define scope including estimating level of effort, complexity, and overall refinement and planning
• Work closely with client Product Owner to define business value and prioritization of work
• Develop team to a high performing, self-organizing state using data driven coaching
• Keep team accountable towards a Continuous Improvement Plan
• Support the team with expert knowledge and manage the maintenance of artifacts
• Support solution architect in SA review and approvals
• Engagement and coordination with on- and offshore teams
• Gather estimates and maintain project financials
• Analysis and reporting of team performance using Agile metrics
• Maintain JIRA as book of record for tracking dependencies and delivery progress
• Manage and report on risks and issues
• Support team in the resolution and escalation of impediments
• Complete pre-release and release activities
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project status, risks, issues, and progress are accurately and effectively shared.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master/Delivery Manager – where agile and project management principles, practices and theory were diligently applied
• Ability to support delivery side an Agile team in a complicated and constrained environment, from discovery through release
• Ability to support product side with Agile product ownership from ideation through discovery
• Experience working with DevOps, Release Management, and Solution Architecture processes
• Ability to educate and challenge stakeholders to protect the team from negative impact to delivery
• Ability to balance and sustain continuous improvement in a challenging environment
• Ability to lead interpretation of metrics and reports to support strong decisions
• Experience in managing project financials
• Advanced facilitation and consensus-building skills
• Senior Manager leadership skills (ability to challenge, influence, have difficult conversations, create winning culture, understand strategy, and translate to tactics)
• Expert written and oral communication skills
• Experience in banking industry preferred
• CSM/PSM, PMP candidates will be given preference
