Agile Business and Quality Assurance Analyst (Remote - US)

We are looking for an experienced Business and Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team and support mission-critical projects that make a difference.

This role supports a major digital modernization initiative for a federal client. As a Business and Quality Assurance Analyst, you will serve as a cross-functional contributor supporting business analysis, quality assurance, and Agile delivery. You will help define and validate requirements, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and ensure that deliverables meet business needs and quality standards.

This role is critical to maintaining alignment between stakeholders and technical teams throughout the modernization lifecycle. You will combine strong business analysis skills with hands-on quality assurance expertise to help deliver high-value, high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, data, and system requirements.Translate requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria using tools like JIRA.Develop and execute quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities, including test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking to validate data integrity, dashboard functionality, and system performance.Provide hands-on support in all phases of the project lifecycle from requirements analysis through to deployment, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality final product.Perform regression testing and quality checks on migrated reports and dashboards.Maintain traceability of requirements through development and testing cycles.Serve as a Scrum Master, removing impediments and coaching the team on Agile best practices to maximize efficiency and delivery.Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Track sprint progress, manage dependencies, and escalate blockers to ensure timely delivery.

What You Must Have

Bachelor's degree preferred or candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of a degree.3+ years of combined experience as a Business Analyst and/or Quality Assurance Analyst, with a strong focus on data-centric projects, including a proven ability to translate requirements into actionable deliverables for technical and non-technical audiences.1+ years of experience with requirement specifications gathering, use cases, process flow diagrams, user interface designs, and other system documentation.2+ years of specialized experience in quality assurance and/or quality control and/or software testing.2+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of the framework and ceremonies.Demonstrated ability to produce detailed, testable, and traceable documentation across multiple formats.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate cross-team collaboration.Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.US Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder) due to federal contract requirements.Must reside in the United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.).

What We Would Like You to Have

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.Experience with Azure cloud-native services, Databricks, and AI-related technologies.Familiarity with Tableau, data modeling, and dashboard validation.Experience supporting federal clients in data migration or modernization efforts.Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$67,020.00 - $113,934.00
