Aggregates Assistant Plant Manager

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** + Support daily operations of the quarry and plant to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity + Implement and monitor production schedules to meet company targets, with a production volume of 1.7 million tons per year + Collaborate with plant leadership to implement process improvements and optimize production + Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime + Lead and develop team members to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement **What Are We Looking For** + Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence + Strong understanding of aggregate production processes and equipment + Proven capability in problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment + Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement + Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience + Five years of aggregates operations management experience + Advanced understanding of geology, mining methods, and regulations + Proven leadership skills managing multiple, diverse teams + Entrepreneurial thinking and business opportunity identification + Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle **Work Environment** This role is based in a quarry and plant setting, requiring regular exposure to outdoor conditions, heavy machinery, and varying terrain.
