Aftermarket Manufacturing Engineer
Due to the nature of this role, which requires consistent, in-person collaboration and onsite work, this position will be performed full-time on site at a BAE Systems facility, 100% of the time.

As an Aftermarket Manufacturing Engineer, you'll work closely with team members to eliminate process waste and ensure compliance in product repairs to successfully meet customer required Turn-around-times. Your daily focus will include:
+ Reviewing customer and product repair requirements
+ Proposing repair options to customers
+ Ensuring compliance with customer purchase orders
+ Dispositioning hardware to bring product back to compliance, airworthiness, and/or to perform upgrades accordingly.
+ Monitoring and improving process efficiency using Lean Manufacturing principles
+ Analyzing and resolving quality defects and process inefficiencies
Responsibilities:
+ Strong technical documentation and analytical problem-solving skills
+ Ability to dig down to root cause and implement creative systemic corrective actions
+ Familiarity with automated and/or advanced manufacturing processes is a plus
+ Support for manufacturing floor activities, such as building standardized work instructions and leading Kaizen events and process walks

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related manufacturing engineering discipline.
+ Must enter FAA mandated Anti-Drug Pool and be subject to random drug testing.
+ Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, utilizing root cause analysis.
+ Ability to interpret technical specifications.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple activities in a team environment.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience and/or certification.
+ Skills and experience utilizing Oracle, Windchill or Data Analysis software
+ General understanding of electronics manufacturing processes
+ Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts
+ Ability to interpret and apply specifications, standards, and customer requirements
+ Proficiency with MS Office Products
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $63662 - $108225
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
