**Job Description** Aftermarket Manufacturing Engineer Due to the nature of this role, which requires consistent, in-person collaboration and onsite work, this position will be performed full-time on site at a BAE Systems facility, 100% of the time. Here, you'll build your career, enjoy work-life balance, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. : As an Aftermarket Manufacturing Engineer, you'll work closely with team members to eliminate process waste and ensure compliance in product repairs to successfully meet customer required Turn-around-times. Your daily focus will include: + Reviewing customer and product repair requirements + Proposing repair options to customers + Ensuring compliance with customer purchase orders + Dispositioning hardware to bring product back to compliance, airworthiness, and/or to perform upgrades accordingly. + Monitoring and improving process efficiency using Lean Manufacturing principles + Analyzing and resolving quality defects and process inefficiencies Responsibilities: + Strong technical documentation and analytical problem-solving skills + Ability to dig down to root cause and implement creative systemic corrective actions + Familiarity with automated and/or advanced manufacturing processes is a plus + Support for manufacturing floor activities, such as building standardized work instructions and leading Kaizen events and process walks If you're a motivated problem solver who enjoys a new challenge every day, this job is for you. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
