JOB SUMMARY:
Manages and administers domestic customer accounts in support of Defense aircraft from request for quote through delivery with all necessary interface between Customers, Sales, Engineering, Production, Finance, Purchasing, Scheduling, Pricing, Suppliers, and regulatory support departments/agencies required to bring the contract to a successful conclusion with customer satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manages and administers standard domestic and international purchase agreements as well as non-standard agreements contracted directly with Textron Defense Company’s (TDC) customers in accordance with Textron Policy and Procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
· Possesses thorough in-depth product knowledge and an understanding of TDC capabilities and applicable regulations.
· Manages and evaluates all purchase agreements relative to TDC financial exposure. Recommends and authorizes actions to be taken to minimize financial risk to TDC.
· Participates with Management in contract negotiations when variations to standard contract terms are necessary or when interpretation of contractual language is required to ensure the Company’s interests are protected.
· Assists Program Management and Capture Management teams in the preparation of proposals requiring quotations for cost, schedule, weight, certification, etc. in response to requests by prospective customers.
· Communicates routinely with management to keep them apprised of status of customer issues affecting delivery schedules and to discuss specific problems requiring management’s intervention.
· Act as liaison in the Customer request process, relative to equipment changes/deletions, and transmits price and delivery impact information to Customers.
· Provides detailed spare part support solutions including, but not limited to:
o Verifies/provides part numbers and required information in order for new parts to be set up in the parts database.
o Communicate quote/pricing information to customers.
o Coordinate with other functional areas as needed in procurement/expediting of time critical parts.
o Prepare and enter orders into the parts database.
o Review/assist in the selection of shipping methods for time critical shipments.
· Provides coordination for the Customer with other TDC processes including but not limited to, order fulfillment and post-delivery support to assure total Customer satisfaction.
· Coordinate with proper regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with US Government and foreign certification requirements.
· Participates in litigation as required. Assists in compiling information or historical data required by Legal Counsel.
· Monitor customer account status and follow-up with the finance department to correct any account issues.
· Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree required in Business, Aviation, Engineering, Marketing or related field
· Minimum 2 years relative experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· May require travel to customer’s base of operations.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Customer experience required
· Outstanding computer skills including Microsoft Office
· SAP experience preferred
· Knowledge of Parts Catalogs or Drawings preferred
