Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking ELOP Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 or general behavioral support for students in the Belmont Redwood Shores area. These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students’ social-emotional and behavioral success in an after-school or extended learning environment.
Position Details
+ Role: ELOP Behavior Technician
+ Setting: Elementary & middle school extended learning programs
+ Location: Belmont Redwood Shores, CA
+ Schedule: Multiple openings with shifts ranging from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM
+ Type: Part-time, school-based
+ Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
+ Provide 1:1 behavior support to assigned students, or offer general behavioral assistance within the classroom or program setting.
+ Implement behavior strategies and reinforcement plans under school and program guidelines.
+ Support students in developing emotional regulation, social skills, and school-appropriate behavior.
+ Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and Amergis staff to ensure consistent support.
+ Maintain documentation on student progress, behavior incidents, and daily notes as required.
Qualifications
+ Experience working with children or students (school, camp, ABA, respite, tutoring, etc.).
+ Ability to follow behavior plans and direction from program staff.
+ Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
+ Must pass background checks and meet district onboarding requirements.

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent required
+ Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
