Job Summary:

A fun, active, and experienced after-school nanny is needed to support a busy family with three school-aged children (12, 9, and 7). With both parents working full-time, the nanny will play a key role in keeping the home running smoothly during the afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities include school-related organisation, preparing healthy meals, planning engaging after-school activities, and supporting the evening routine. The ideal candidate will be confident caring for multiple children, including pre-teens, and bring a positive, proactive, and nurturing approach to daily life. The family is looking for someone reliable, warm, and ready to become a long-term part of their home.

Job specification:

Plan and cook healthy, varied dinners for the children Support with child-related housekeeping – laundry, tidying up, keeping school items organised Prepare school bags, uniforms, and activity kits for the week ahead Help with schoolwork and homework as needed Organise after-school activities, playdates, and outings Keep the children engaged with crafts, games, and outdoor play Support and maintain consistent bath time and bedtime routines Handle grocery shopping and meal planning for the children Occasional evening babysitting (always arranged in advance)

 

Candidate specification:

Proactive, fun, and great at keeping children engaged and active Experienced with school-aged children, including managing the needs of multiple kids Comfortable and confident supporting both pre-teens and younger children A warm, friendly, and easy-going personality with a calm and capable approach Confident home cook with a creative and nutritious approach to meal planning Active, energetic, and hands-on – enjoys joining in with games, activities, and outdoor play Comfortable around pets (family has a friendly older cat) Confident Driver Reliable, supportive, and looking to grow with the family over time

 

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
