Shift: 6PM-6AM

Pay: 18.00/hr plus shift premium

GENERAL PURPOSE: Maintain machine workflow to meet due dates for assigned machine.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Start up equipment at the start of shift. Operates machinery to keep up with scheduled workload. Enters accurate information into Prism system.Enters accurate information into QuickBase system.Reads job tickets, verifying job and form number match proof before loading machine.Monitors quality outputs.Completes paperwork recording counts.Follows the 6S principals.Assists technical support group team members with resolving machine issues.Consults with the Lead or Supervisor regarding machine capability or maintenance related issues.Troubleshoots and resolves any minor run problems that may occur.Remakes any product that does not pass quality standards.Maintains security for user data during processing.Takes on positive leadership (non-management role) regarding all company policies, regulations, guidelines, and behavior.May be required in assisting in training new operators. Performs other job duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.Must have a minimum of 1-year prior experience as a machine operatorMust have the ability to read and write instructions and correspondence.Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.Must be able to maintain good attendance.Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.Must be reliable and dependable.Must be committed to maintaining a safe work environment, identify hazards, familiarize with safety rules, and/or have the ability to work safely with specific tools or materials.Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
