Role Overview

Supervise daily operations at the AES Base to ensure compliance with HSE standards. Conduct job risk and hazard assessments to identify potential safety issues. Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system and ensure implementation of HSE controls. Perform regular inspections and HSE audits of facilities and equipment. Oversee waste management processes, including segregation and disposal. Organize and conduct HSE drills and facilitate committee meetings. Investigate incidents and unsafe situations, developing corrective action plans. Ensure availability and maintenance of HSE equipment on site. Identify training needs for personnel and organize necessary training sessions. Prepare reports and maintain HSE boards and trackers.

Skills & Qualifications

HSE Expertise: Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Material Handling: Proficient in lifting operations using cranes, forklifts, and reach stackers. Communication Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Training Ability: Strong trainer capable of conducting safety inductions and workshops. Technical education or Engineering Degree (or equivalent). Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE supervisory roles. Certifications: Licensed DG Declarant (Sea, Air, Land), First Aid, Firefighting, Waste Management, Radiation Safety, Oil Spill Containment.
