Aerospace Technician

Job Description:

The Mechanical Technician will effectively manage schedules and priorities with moderate daily direction to meet schedule objectives. This role involves material handling, installation, and integration of mechanical cooling systems, and operating hand and power tools to complete mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities:

Manage schedule and priorities with moderate daily direction to meet objectivesHandle materials including receipt and inspection of componentsInstall and integrate mechanical cooling systems using a combination of COTS and custom mechanicsOperate hand and power tools to complete mechanical assemblies as specified by prints, schematics, and BOMsPrepare and assemble plumbing components for pressure testing and various chiller systemsPerform general fluid system maintenance, reconfiguration, and analysisChange filters and replace components like pumps and fittings as needed

Qualifications:

Proficiency in using hand toolsStrong mechanical skillsAbility to troubleshoot mechanical systemsExperience in bending stainless steel tubing preferredAbility to prepare quick disconnect tubing runs preferred

Work Environment: This company is based in Longmont, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
